Singapore Corporate Hospitality
Mon 2nd Mar 09 - 9:30

SINGAPORE, 2 March 2009 – Corporate hospitality packages for the 2009 FORMULA 1™ SingTel Singapore Grand Prix have been released today for general sale.

Race promoter Singapore GP Pte Ltd (SGP) is making available corporate hospitality tickets during the first phase of the release, with three-day passes ranging from EURO 2000 to 5500 per person.

“In a year that many companies are cutting back on corporate hospitality it is even more important that their most valuable clients are treated to an unforgettable experience. Singapore has a unique position on the Formula One™ calendar and this unique approach also extends to our corporate hospitality offerings,’’ said Mr Darren Chen, SGP’s Director for Corporate Sales.

As a street track within a compact circuit park, SGP is restricted in the number of suites that it can offer at key vantage points such as opposite the pit lane or at the key turns and this is reflected in the different pricing points on offer.

“We are fully aware of the need to reflect the realities of the current economic situation. Our objective has always been to make the race as accessible as possible. SGP remains committed to this and we will continue to offer various pricing points,’’ Mr Chen added.

For example, The Green Room at Turn 3  has been introduced into the circuit this year as our new entry level product. The competitive price is less than anything available for the 2008 race. With its air conditioned lounge inclusive of F&B and outdoor seating area, The Green Room’s strategic location at Turn 3 offers an exciting viewing opportunity as cars exiting the Pit Lane jostle with cars coming through Turn 2.

Each Club and Sky Suite offers the ultimate in corporate hospitality with five-star facilities right on the circuit commanding unique views of the race. Each suite is tastefully appointed, fully air-conditioned, with a dedicated outdoor viewing area, five-star full meal services, fine wine and champagne, as well as the services of a hand-picked Suite Ambassador to ensure a memorable experience for all. With prices starting at S$5,000 per head for a Club Suite, clients can opt for a table of ten in shared suite, all the way up to a dedicated suite that accommodates at least 50.

Clients with dedicated suites can expect more flexibility this year as corporates have the option to theme their suites, personalising it to suit their branding needs. Sky Suite guests can also enjoy the race from the open-air rooftop, which also offers a panoramic view of the city skyline.

F1Corporate is sales agent for all corporate hospitality throughout the circuit, and companies wishing to purchase these packages should contact our Corporate Sales Department at +44 208 432 4020 or email vip@f1corporate.com

Tickets to the Formula One Paddock Club™ will be available for general sale on 6 February, while general admission tickets (grandstands and walkabouts) to the race are expected to be available from end March, with further details to be announced mid-March.
