Barcelona is a delightful and seductive city in which to spend a few days. It is rich in architecture and heritage, has everything from smart shops to colourful markets, an endless selection of cafes, bars and restaurants and the city beaches. Barcelona locals snack continuously, grazing away the day via mid-morning tapas, a long lunch, afternoon pastries and a late dinner. They also stroll, mixing with the tourists along the wide, leafy avenues, in the shady plazas and markets and through the narrow streets of the old town. Barcelona is a city appreciated by both its inhabitants and Formula One visitors.
Exploring Barcelona will be easy and convenient during the Spanish Grand Prix 2010 as all hotels are very central, and ideal bases to do some quality shopping, visit great restaurants and enjoy nightlife on the doorstep. Why not rub shoulders with some familiar Formula One faces at AMBER LOUNGE after the race on Sunday?
Direct flights to Barcelona from many regional airports mean you can travel at convenient times from an airport close to you.
For a longer Spanish Grand Prix break we are offering five nights in the resort of Santa Susanna on the Costa Brava, also with regional flights for maximum flexibility. Nestling between the mountains and the shore you can combine your Spanish Grand Prix F1 race weekend with a relaxing break by the sea. If five nights isn’t long enough just let us know – we can extend your stay to a week or more if you wish.
