Battling for pole position
Every year the German Grand Prix in Hockenheim attracts around 120,000 fans, who come to cheer on "Schmui" and the boys and their favourite team. Every driver has his own particular techniques for tackling the circuit, and as the race unfolds, you'll find it hard to keep your eyes off the almost 4.5-km long track with all its hairpin bends and chicanes. Automobile enthusiasts should also pay a visit to Hockenheimring's Motorsport Museum, where they can see all kinds of other racing cars.

The famous motorsports mecca of Hockenheim is situated on the Upper Rhine Plain. Even if you're not interested in Hockenheimring's high-speed racing action, the town has lots to offer. The Aquadrome is a splashtacular pool complex, while the go-kart track promises fun and excitement for all the family.

Aquadrome
The Aquadrome pool complex offers water-based fun for all ages, no matter what the weather's like outside. There's a wave pool, Nordic sauna facilities, pool sports and thermal baths, not to mention a fantastic beach-like atmosphere all year round. It's also great for younger children, and there are several places where you can grab a snack.

Go-kart track
The outdoor go-kart track is right next to the entrance to the drivers' paddock at Hockenheimring. Whether it's the Schumacher brothers or Fernando Alonso, almost all successful racing drivers got their motorsport careers into gear in a go-kart. The track has a high-grip surface and is approximately 320 metres long, and challengers are always welcome to try and beat the record time for completing a lap, which is currently under a minute for a 7.5 horsepower kart. Battling for pole position in these mini racing cars is always great fun!

Hockenheimring
With such a diverse range of activities on offer, it's time to discover Hockenheimring from a different perspective. There's everything from driving and safety training to pure, unadulterated fun in the form of go-kart races, white-knuckle "taxi" rides, and racing car experiences. Emulate your formula one heroes and tackle the circuit yourself behind the wheel of a racing or touring car. There are also intensive driving safety courses, where you're put through your paces by licensed instructors. Hockenheimring really does take pole position when it comes to motorsport experiences. .

Experience Formula 1 from the pole position. We look forward to your visit!
