"The people here are amazing," Massa said. "Making it third year in a row in front of these amazing people, I don't have any words that can describe how good it feels."

Nail biting actiong and very unpredictable... Formula One has shown its real face again in the final race in Sao Paulo 2008 when Lewis Hamilton claimed his first championship title in front of Massa's home crowd and against all odds. Be there and witness the race live in this very exciting world city.

  • The city of Sao Paulo is the country's most highly industrialised region. Sao Paulo is also Brazil's centre of finance and trade - and an enormous city, which is said to stretch over 3,200 square kilometres and is home to more than 15 million inhabitants.
  • The city receives the largest number of tourists in Brazil and dictates the fashion, style and culture trends in Brazil.
  • Sao Paulo famous for its local art, excellent restaurants, late-night clubs, museums, parks and theatres, but above all, the unbelievable cultural diversity of its people.

F1Corporate can recommend various day activities ensuring that your stay will be memorable.

The Sao Paulo Interlagos circuit is a physical challenge for the drivers, as it is one of only three anti-clockwise race circuits beside Singapore and Istanbul. This places extra physical pressures on the drivers, as the forces in the corners work on the opposite muscles. As for the racetrack, the bumpy surface causes major vibrations in the car and also influences the set-up, ride heights and grip levels.

São Paulo is the largest city in Brazil, with a city population of about 12 million and almost 20 million including its metropolitan cities. It is the capital of the Southeastern state of São Paulo, and also a beehive of activity that offers a jovial nightlife and an intense cultural experience. São Paulo is one of the richest cities in the southern hemisphere, though inequality between the classes typically observed in Brazil is blatant. It's one of the most diverse cities in the world and well worth visiting especially during the busiest time of the year when Formula One is in town.
